Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) Flooring

Do you want the look and feel of wood with the ease and efficiency of tile? Luxury Vinyl Tile is for you! LVT is scratch, stain, and water resistant; it’s easy to install, durable, and sound-deadening. On top of all that, there are endless colors, styles, and sizes to choose from. LVT is the perfect choice for the budget conscious consumer who prefers a high end look and it works extremely well in areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and basements where you might want hardwood but environmental concerns make that an iffy choice. LVT can be installed almost anywhere, comes in so many choices it can match any style, is durable enough to last for years, and cleans easily with a simple wipe of a cloth. What’s not to love?

Laminate Flooring

Laminate flooring is similar to LVT in many ways, but while LVT is usually made from vinyl or rubber, laminate is typically made primarily from wood, so it looks and feels a little more like real wood. But that doesn’t mean that it’s not affordable, durable, and easy to maintain. The main difference is the installation process. While LVT installation is generally a peel-and-stick process, laminate is what is referred to as a “floating floor,” meaning that it clicks together on top of existing floor surfaces and should never be glued or nailed down. If you’re looking for the greener choice, laminate is the way to go due to the materials used in manufacturing and the fact that no chemicals are used to adhere the flooring to the subsurface.
